By default the shortcut for Windows Games (Games Explorer) is not available in Windows 8 where as it is available on the older version of Windows like XP, Vista and Seven. But we can also navigate to that Window.
What replaces the Windows Games
Instead of these classic games windows 8 comes with XBOX games. it can be played on-line. A shortcut to open these Xbox Games named as “Games” is placed on the start screen of Windows 8.

Thanks 😀
This is wrong because I have installed games and they are in the games explorer folder, but there is no easy way that I have found to access this folder, and the games that are in this folder do not show up in the games app. This is a problem that Microsoft are yet to address, if they ever do.
That is so stupid that there is no internet checkers on windows 8 this is a waist of money
how come yall cant leave classic features the same
My husband loves the solitaire in Windows XP & 7 – Today is his birthday – I want to get it for him. We are very disappointed with the Windows 8 not having the Games Explorer. I will get it for him, if I knew where it is available. He does not like the games in the Windows 8. Disappointed Patsy Murphy
